As I create more new pages, I will be using the XLSX and XLS format more and more because there is so much more flexibility and intuitive features than with the PDF files.
One of the “goofy” things I find with the editable PDF files (the PDF-Es) is that text doesn’t always fit like it should.
So here’s a trick I’ve learned in working with these editable forms . . .
Sometimes when typing in an editable space (like for a title), it will allow you to keep typing more and more letters, but won’t allow you to add any more spaces at the end to create more words. Weird, I know! So to “trick” it, I’ll type the first letter of each word of my title with a space in between and then go back and fill in the rest of the letters. Seems to work!
EXAMPLE:
Say I want to type . . . My Christmas Financial Planning Form. To “trick” the page into letting me type all of this, I’ll first type “M C F P F” and then go back and fill in the rest. Maybe there’s a better way to do this? I haven’t figured it out though LOL!
